GEMINI scholars research young adults’ consumption of serial drama and young adults’ experience of gender issues through fiction and serial content. GEMINI produces new ways to teach gender equality for European high school students by using the serial content that young adults consume through various media platforms.

GEMINI E-LEARNING PLATFORM

The GEMINI e-platform provides high school students and teachers with tools for deep analysis of gender-related issues through serial dramas. It analyzes contents, cultural roots and possible social effects of serial narratives, aiming at raising awareness on these issues and engaging young adults as gender equality ambassadors in their daily lives. GEMINI FINAL CONFERENCE

The GEMINI conference takes place in Rome April 10-11 2025. The conference involves an open call for papers, inviting international researchers to present their own work on gender equality issues in serial drama and education. The conference will present the GEMINI research results and establish a great opportunity for a scholarly exchange of ideas for researchers. More information available here.

NEW GEMINI RESEARCH REPORT

The new GEMINI research report (D3.2) presents the results of the GEMINI audience research among European young adults and secondary school teachers and trainers, conducted as part of the WP3 activities in the 4 European countries involved in the project:
Denmark, Ireland, Italy, and Romania.

GEMINI TEACHING MATERIAL

The GEMINI series “Nature of a sequence” presents examples of how to teach gender issues through serial drama. From the ‘one series, one scene, one issue’ perspective, it proposes easy-to-use examples for European high school teachers.
